About the Role
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how we deliver services. You'll lead a team of analysts, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive improvements that align with our Business Plan. Your work will directly impact the lives of children and families in Bradford.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor Business Analysts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Develop and implement business analysis frameworks and tools.
Conduct workshops, interviews, and data analysis to identify service improvements.
Map and optimise business processes using best practices.
Support change management and project delivery across the organisation.
Produce clear, insightful reports and business cases.
Collaborate with IT and service teams to deliver innovative solutions.
About You
We're looking for someone with:
Proven experience in business analysis, ideally in social care or the public sector.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
A relevant professional certification (e.g., Six Sigma, LEAN, Business Process Modelling).
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Proficiency in tools like MS Office, Power BI, and Visio.
A passion for continuous improvement and making a difference in children's services.

To succeed in the role, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in social care or the public sector.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide Business Analysts.
Skilled in business process mapping, data analysis, and benefits profiling.
Proficient in tools such as MS Office, Power BI, and Visio.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong ability to use Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
Able to manage change, assess impact, and support implementation.
Holds a relevant certification (e.g. BCS, APMG, LEAN Practitioner).
Knowledge of safeguarding and children's services (desirable).
