We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join the Strategic Change Service within the Corporate Services Group.

The successful candidate will be joining us at a critical time in our development and at the start of a new portfolio of strategic change. We need someone who is happy talking to stakeholders at all levels of our business and find the right people in a complex environment. We need you to have the experience to ensure projects deliver quality but also to help us shape and continually improve how our team works.
As a Senior Business Analyst you will be aligned to a programme of work and will play a key role in helping to initiate the projects within that programme. The Senior Business Analyst will be essential in ensuring business needs are understood, solutions are defined and delivered effectively and stakeholder expectations are managed across the full project lifecycle. The successful candidate will bring significant experience in business analysis and will be responsible for the planning and delivery of analysis work across a range of complex projects in the higher education sector.
We are an expert team of professionals advising, coordinating, supporting and co-producing strategic initiatives and improvements in partnership with our colleges and services, and their constituent schools and departments. The role holder will line managed by the Head of Business Analysis and will play a significant part in the delivery of a high-quality Analysis services to the Strategic Change Service Team and our broader University network of stakeholders who support the delivery of portfolio.

We are recruiting for one open-ended role.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week). This role is hybrid but it is expected that this role requires 2 - 3 days per week in varying offices across our campus.
The salary for this post is 49,559 - 60,907 per annum.
Your skills and attributes for success:
Significant experience of business analysis using a range of tools and techniques.
Experience of coordinating and delivering complex process redesign initiatives.
Experience of coaching and coordinating teams of Business Analysts.
Excellent relationship building and engagement with a wide variety of stakeholders.
Experience with Project software (e.g., MS Visio, Miro, JIRA).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented but with a strategic mindset.
Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
