Job Description

JOB PURPOSE



We are looking for a dynamic and highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to drive the transformation of our IT department into a more agile, product and platform-oriented operation. This is a high-impact role that will work directly with the IT Directors while being aligned with the Transformation Director through the Head of Business Analysis. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with experience in consultancy (Deloitte, Accenture, EY) and/or Business Architecture, able to drive change and establish best practices across key functions.



JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES



Integrated Business Planning:

> Evolve and define the strategy, vision, service catalogue, processes, and stakeholder engagement for our Integrated Business Planning function

> Focus on aligning outcomes, value, and holistic road mapping to enhance departmental oversight and portfolio initiatives.



Cross-domain Planning:

> Design and implement a framework for cross-domain planning and dependency management.

> Pilot and refine new processes with P&P teams, ensuring continuous improvement based on feedback.



Demand Management & Prioritisation:

> Standardise and implement demand management processes across various domains.

> Develop mechanisms for backlog prioritisation and triage to effectively manage IT and business changes.



Funding Model:

> Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of a newly designed funding model.

> Participate in forums and conduct retrospectives to continuously improve the funding processes.



Tooling:

> Assess current process landscapes and tools supporting end-to-end delivery.

> Identify and document scenarios and user stories for new tool requirements, or improvements to existing systems.

Requirements of the Role

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED



> Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst, ideally from a consulting or business architecture background (e.g., Deloitte, Accenture, EY).

> Expertise in Agile/Product & Platform/Hybrid operating models.

> Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.

> Excellent communication and presentation skills.

> Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and collaborate across diverse domains.

> Comfort working autonomously in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

LOCATION & HOURS OF WORK



This full-time hybrid role, based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week.
