Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled

Senior Business Analyst

with over 7 years of experience in business analysis, stakeholder management, and solution delivery. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of translating complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements and driving projects through all phases of the delivery lifecycle. This role is

fully remote within the UK

and may require occasional travel for workshops or client meetings.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with business stakeholders to

elicit, document, and prioritise business requirements

using structured analysis techniques. Develop

Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, and User Stories

aligned with project goals. Facilitate

workshops, interviews, and process mapping sessions

to identify current-state and future-state processes. Conduct detailed

gap analysis

,

impact assessments

, and recommend effective solutions aligned with strategic objectives. Work closely with

Product Managers, Developers, Testers, and Project Managers

to ensure smooth delivery and traceability of requirements. Support the definition of

business cases

, cost-benefit analyses, and KPIs for proposed initiatives. Lead or mentor junior analysts and contribute to

BA best practices

and process improvements within the organisation. Ensure compliance with

data protection, security, and governance standards

across all deliverables. Participate in

UAT planning, test case review, and validation of delivered solutions

to ensure business acceptance.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum

7 years' experience

in a Business Analyst or Senior BA role. Strong knowledge of

requirements management methodologies

(Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid). Proven ability to work in

remote, cross-functional teams

and manage multiple stakeholders. Excellent

communication, presentation, and documentation

skills. Expertise in

business process modelling

,

data analysis

, and

solution design

. Proficiency in tools such as

JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Lucidchart, or similar

. Strong understanding of

SDLC

,

change management

, and

UAT processes

. Experience working in sectors such as

finance, insurance, digital transformation, or technology

(preferred).

Desirable Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

in Business, IT, or a related discipline.

CBAP, BCS, or PMI-PBA certification

(preferred). Experience with

cloud-based platforms
