Senior Business Development Manager (bdm)

Job Description

The role of BDM or any title related to this role undertaking the professional selling of Fresco Environmental Ltd products at the front line.

This entails a direct approach to sales including the development of strong marketing plans to drive sales, working relationship with colleagues and clients and company awareness within the sector.

Core Functions

:

Deliver new business, base revenue and sales order targets by prospecting, researching, targeting and contacting potential clients who fit the Fresco Environmental Ltd business model and successfully negotiate and close contracts

Be conversant and proficient in the professional selling process when meeting clients, adhering to all company guidelines including any sales initiatives instigated by your line manager or director

Competent at client site auditing of their waste systems and providing advice where necessary in order to win new clients and retain current clients with a desire to maximise the potential of each client throughout the life of the contract

Completing all the necessary paperwork for the sale of any service and recording accurately all the details of potential clients and newly won business on the central management system

Communicate freely and efficiently with colleagues, departments and management at all time

Define and implement a sustainable account development, retention and sales strategy to ensure the short and long term profitable growth, market position and reputation of Fresco Environmental Ltd. Be aware of and fully understand all sales targets and manage all business activities to achieve the required standards set by the company

Management time effectively and plan day to day business activities to sell Fresco Environmental Ltd services in the predetermined allocated sales area. Report on a daily basis of activities and appointments, contract progress and sales updated and attend when required, all training courses and business meetings

Support the Company ISO's and work to the standards required and implement improvements as necessary

Technical/Professional Qualifications:



Strong sales skill set; prospecting, opening, needs identification, benefits positioning, objection handling and closing

Ability to work with clients to solve their business needs and to develop solutions to maximise business revenue

Full clean driving licence

Experience

:

Demonstrable experience of direct sales in the business to business environment

Consistent track record and over achievement of closing sales contracts

Well developed client management and presentation skills, with evidence of strong relationship building at all levels

Personal skills/competencies

:

Strong negotiation skills

Good communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written

Ability to influence, develop and maintain positive relationships

Flexible and adaptable with a positive attitude to work

Capability to work as part of a team

The ability to manage high work levels and prioritise tasks

Salary and commission will be assessed on experience and discussed at the interview stage



Knowledge of the waste and recycling industry is a must
