Purpose
The Business Development Manager is responsible for qualifying and nurturing warm leads, generating new cold leads, and driving sales and revenue growth, and focuses on identifying opportunities, developing client relationships, and converting prospects into long term business partners.
The role requires strong communication skills, including professional email writing, cold calling, and follow-up calling to engage potential customers effectively.
Additionally, the role collaborates closely with the New Product Development (NPD) team to develop customer- specific proposals and quotation packs aligned with their product and commercial goals.
What You'll Do
Lead Qualification & Nurturing - Engaging and qualifying inbound leads, ensuring warm leads progress through the sales pipeline.
Collaboration with NPD for Customer-Specific Product Development - Working with NPD to develop product specifications ensuring alignment with customer requirements, and preparing technical sheets
Sales & Revenue Growth - Driving conversions by building relationships, negotiating deals, and closing sales.
Cold Lead Generation & Outreach - Identifying new business opportunities, executing cold calls, emails and LinkedIn prospecting
Proposal & Quotation Pack Preparation - Compiling customer specific proposals, including product details, pricing, and commercial terms, and presenting these to clients.
CRM Management, Email & Follow-up Calling - Managing leads in Microsoft Dynamics 365, conducting follow-up calla, and ensuring ongoing engagement.
What You'll Bring
Strong communication skills, including professional emailing, cold calling, and follow-up strategies.
Ability to engage potential clients, build relationships and close deals through proactive outreach.
Strong B2B sales, excellent negotiation and lead conversion skills.
Analytical ability to assess market trends, evaluate customer needs, and optimize sales strategies.
Proficiency in CRM software (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred) for managing leads and tracking sales performance.
Desired Skill and Experience
At least 5 years of experience in supplement manufacturing company.
Proven track record of cold calling, follow up calling, and customer outreach via email.
Experience working alongside product development teams to align customer needs with product offerings.
Strong ability to build relationships, qualify leads and drives sales
Qualification and Education
Certifications in Sales, Digital Marketing, or CRM software are a plus.
