The Data Services team works with 100s of customers across the property sector ranging from mortgage lenders, house builders, investors, fin & proptech, telco, retail/utilities as well as others involved in the housing market. The business is now expanding into the Insurance sector.

Our range of products cover market, property and mover intelligence and are delivered through varying mechanisms including data platforms, reports and APIs, providing maximum flexibility when matching our customers' needs to the most effective data solution.

Description:

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to bring our property and risk solutions to the insurance sector. You will work with our Head of Business Development, Marketing and Product teams to develop and bring to market a compelling insurance proposition to acquire new business and establish our position within the sector as a leader in residential property datasets to support insurers to support their pricing and underwriting strategies and predict burn costs.


You must be someone who is proactive, takes initiative and has empathy for the challenges and requirements of our clients. Excellent organisation skills and being comfortable communicating with C-suite customers and internal stakeholders is essential for success in this role. Previous experience working in the insurance industry and analytical skills is a must.

Responsibilities:

Driving Hometrack Data and insight solutions into the insurance sector Meeting Revenue targets Leverage insurance industry contacts to build strong client relationships Raising Brand Awareness Establish and accelerate sales growth in an exciting new market opportunity Collaborate with internal teams to optimise and develop market-leading solutions Attend industry events to build relationships and stay current with market trends Supporting the Head of Business Development with new business opportunities, account set ups and contract administration Working with our Product team to support continuous product development Working with Marketing to support proposition development and marketing activities Working with key stakeholders across the business to support with client engagement and commercial operations Weekly and monthly reporting of renewals and client usage Working with internal stakeholders to provide product feedback, resolve data queries and client complaints Responsible for accurate reporting and auditing of opportunities within our Salesforce CRM and using Salesforce to grow an accurate source of client information and activity history Responsible for maintaining and auditing accounts across our products and CRM Any other duties realistically expected to the fulfil the departments objective of increasing revenue and growing our client base

Requirements:

Experience in the insurance or InsurTech industry, with demonstrable customer relationships Experience running a sales pipeline with proven success Strong people and communication skills Experienced InsurTech sales professional with a strong performance record Track record and ability to build strong relations with clients and other stakeholders Ability to shape processes and define sales strategies Structured approach to managing a workload Ability to take ownership and be proactive Excellent communication skills verbally and in writing Relentless drive and desire to be the very best at what you do * Strong work ethic with a high sense of urgency
