About the Role
Legal 500 is seeking an experienced and driven
Senior Business Development Manager
to lead our
Latin America regional sales team
. This is a pivotal position for a confident, people-focused sales leader with a strong record of achieving results through coaching, motivation, and strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
Manage, coach, and inspire a team of four Business Development Executives.
Create a high-performance culture with clear expectations and accountability.
Lead by example with a proactive, no-excuses mindset and strong personal standards.
Encourage CRM best practices and identify areas for process improvement.
Client Development & Revenue Growth
Oversee a portfolio of renewal and new business accounts across the Latin America region.
Strengthen relationships with existing clients while identifying new partnership opportunities.
Drive revenue growth across subscriptions, online inventory, content/thought leadership, and data products.
Ensure client satisfaction, renewals, and retention through strategic engagement and delivery.
Sales Execution
Build and execute sales strategies for the region in line with global objectives.
Accurately forecast, monitor performance metrics, and manage pipelines for you and your team.
Stay ahead of market trends, competitor developments, and client needs.
Collaborate with editorial, marketing, and product teams to enhance client solutions and drive value.
About You
Minimum
3 years of managerial experience
leading a successful sales team.
Strong track record in
B2B sales
, ideally within professional services, media, or data-driven environments.
Skilled in motivating and developing people to achieve their full potential.
Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to client relationships and renewals.
Excellent communicator with strong presentation and organisational abilities.
Business-level
Spanish
language skills are highly desirable.
Must have the right to work in the UK.
