The team...





Education, Schools and Inclusion covers a wide range of areas including schools organisation and admissions, adult learning, Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, support services to schools for example school improvement, music service, sports partnership and governor support and the Early Years Childcare Service.





The Business Support Team provide clerical and administrative support to services within Education, Schools and Inclusion, ensuring an efficient and effective service is provided.




About the role....





You will provide business and administrative support which varies from team to team across the service. The role will include (but not limited to) recording information, dealing with enquiries from service users, members of the public and external organisations. Other responsibilities include financial duties, such as processing of invoices, raising invoices and monitoring payments. Preparing and organising meetings, including the pulling together of agendas and minuting the meetings, are other key requirements of the role. There is also an element of statutory work included such as processing of referrals for Special Educational Needs.
