As a Senior Business Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations of our business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
To provide efficient and effective business process & document production including complex minute taking and customer services support to internal and external customers, this is the primary function of the role.
Provide high-level administrative support to the service, our clients, and key stakeholders.
Day to day supervision and support for other Business Support staff as required.
Provide effective financial monitoring and financial data reporting as required.
Requirements:
5 GCSE or equivalent (including 1 GCSE in both English and Maths)
Proven experience in a similar administrative role.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement. We are open to discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities which benefit you and the Council, including reduced hour contracts, working part time or as a job share.
If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
