Job Description

The Senior Business Systems Analyst is the strategic owner of the organization's ERP and related business systems. This role is responsible for developing and executing the long-term applications strategy, driving system optimization, and ensuring data integrity and reporting effectiveness across the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



ERP System Management:



Oversee the overall health and performance of the ERP system. Provide day-to-day support for ERP users, including troubleshooting and issue resolution. Assist with creating control processes to ensure data accuracy and process controls are followed. Manage ERP improvement projects for new functionality and capabilities. Provide expert guidance on best practices for using and leveraging the ERP system for all departments and users.

Business Analysis:



Collaborate with stakeholders (from various departments, including Operations, Finance, Engineering, Product, etc.) to gain insights into the business through data analysis of the ERP system. Review business processes and identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement. Document system processes, workflows, and training materials. Assist the business with the analysis of inventory levels and other ERP-related functions.

Project Management and Implementation:



Lead or participate in ERP system implementations, upgrades, or module deployments, adhering to project plans, timelines, and budgets. Coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, and vendors to ensure successful project execution and integration. Develop and manage project documentation, including scope, objectives, requirements, and testing plans.

Training and Support:



Develop and deliver training programs and documentation to ensure end-user proficiency with the ERP system. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for ERP-related issues Collaborate with technical teams and vendors to resolve complex problems efficiently. Assist with data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation.

Continuous Improvement and Strategy:



Identify opportunities to streamline business processes through effective use of ERP functionality. Contribute to the organization's overall digital transformation strategy. Performs other duties as required.
Proficiency in business analysis techniques and methodologies A strong understanding of various ERP systems (like Visual, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and their modules (including finance, supply chain, and HR) is essential; knowledge of Infor Visual is a bonus Familiarity with SQL, and experience with Power BI reporting Strong project management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate

REQUIREMENTS:



Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Computer Science, or Information Systems, is required. 3+ years of experience in business systems, ERP support, or data/reporting roles. Proven ability to lead projects, define business requirements, and deliver actionable insights. Experience managing ERP systems or participating in their implementation. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools. * Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or operations environment, preferred.
