Role Purpose


We are seeking a commercial, strategically minded Senior Buying Manager to join our growing team. Working closely with the Chief Operations Officer, you will translate a clear product and brand vision into a cohesive, commercially strong product range. This is a pivotal role that combines strategic planning, product development, trading insight, and leadership. You will oversee the end?to?end buying process, collaborating with Design, Marketing, Merchandising, Wholesale and Production to deliver profitable, brand?building collections.

Key Responsibilities



Turn brand and product strategy into clear, commercially focused buying plans Lead key strategic projects and drive product strategy from concept to launch Use data, insights and channel performance to guide decision?making and future range development Partner with cross?functional teams to shape early product direction and seasonal launches Oversee Wholesale Buy in collaboration with the Head of Wholesale Champion ethical sourcing and compliance Own the full buying cycle from sourcing and negotiation to order placement achieving margin and quality targets Build strong global supplier relationships and resolve challenges effectively Work closely with Design and Production to ensure commercial, cost?aligned product development. Maintain accurate product data and identify new suppliers to support growth. Collaborate across Marketing, Design, Merchandising and Production to identify hero products and drive sell?through Present trading updates and product performance to senior stakeholders Support and develop junior team members, fostering pace, clarity and accountability Work with the Founder and COO to deliver long?term brand ambitions Build the Sales Plan and track performance against targets Monitor and protect margin, reacting quickly to maximise sell?through Trade the range in season, managing replenishment and stock packages Lead price and Minimum Order Quantity negotiations and oversee end?to?end order management

Skills & Experience



Required



Proven commercial experience in fashion buying, ideally within premium, aspirational or luxury brands Strong background in managing product lifecycle, critical paths, margin optimisation and supplier negotiation Experience managing multiple product categories with varied lead times Comfortable operating in a fast?growing environment with evolving processes Advanced Excel and strong data analysis skills Excellent negotiation and global supplier management experience

Desired



Degree in Fashion Buying & Merchandising, Business or Retail Management Experience using PLM systems and digital buying tools Leadership experience, including developing junior talent Strong understanding of sustainability and ethical sourcing principles
