Ascend Airways operate a small fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft (NG and MAX) in the ACMI market and opened its first operational base at London Gatwick in early 2024.

We are seeking Senior Cabin Crew Members who excel in delivering outstanding customer service and crafting unforgettable experiences for our valued customers.
Reporting to the Head of Cabin Services, Senior Cabin Crew play a vital role, managing Cabin Crew teams during flights, providing guidance where needed and ensuring that all cabin crew conduct themselves in line with Ascend Airways values and standards. All our Cabin Crew roles play a key part in delivering first class customer service to our customers, in turn contributing towards our Company branding and reputation.
Responsibilities:
Receiving flight information from the flight deck
Leading pre-flight briefings to delegate duties and positions to each crew member for the duration of the flight
Preparing the cabin for take-off
Ensuring the safety and comfort of all Ascend Airways passengers
Ensuring all mandatory regular checks are completed during the flight
Enforcing compliance with safety protocols and procedures
Providing exceptional levels of customer service to all passengers
Managing junior Cabin Crew members on board the aircraft
Willingness and ability to spend long periods of time away from home
Who we are looking for:
A genuine passion for Aviation, Customer Service and Travel.
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
Knowledge of additional languages is desirable
An ability to stay calm and work under pressure, with strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude
Ability and confidence to swim (25 meters unassisted)
Strong leadership and communication skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
Excellent customer service skills and mindset with the ability to handle challenging passenger situations.
Strong understanding of safety and emergency procedures.
Problem solving skills and the ability to think quickly on your feet
No visible tattoos or piercings while in uniform.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a qualified Senior Cabin Crew Member (minimum 2 years flying experience, with at least 1 year as a Senior Crew Member required)* Proven experience of supervision and guidance of Cabin Crew members.
Knowledge of medical first aid (updated medical training will be provided by Ascend Airways)
MUST - Unrestricted right to live and work in the United Kingdom
MUST - Hold a valid UK Cabin Crew Medical OR meet the requirements to obtain one.
DESIRABLE - Hold a valid UK CAA Attestation.
MUST - Be over the age of 18 at the time of application.
MUST - Hold a valid passport that permits unrestricted travel worldwide
DESIRABLE - Hold the valid vaccination certificates where necessary OR be willing to obtain.
MUST - Satisfactory background and ability to pass a DBS screening check.
Within 90 Minute Commute time from assigned base.
