Key Responsibilities

Care Delivery

Provide high-quality, person-centred care to clients in their own homes. Support clients with personal care, medication, mobility, meal preparation, companionship, and other daily tasks. Monitor and respond to changes in client health, wellbeing or environment. Build professional and compassionate relationships with clients and their families.

Support & Supervision of Care Staff

Mentor and guide care staff in the field, providing on-the-spot advice and reassurance. Shadow and support new carers during their induction and first visits. Carry out spot checks, observations, and competency assessments. Encourage best practices and uphold company policies and procedures during visits.

Administrative & Coordination Duties (in the field)

Use mobile systems to update care notes, client records, and staff observations in real-time. Assist with rota adjustments and respond to urgent scheduling needs. Report incidents, concerns or safeguarding issues promptly and accurately. Contribute to care plan updates and risk assessments by feeding back to the office team. Communicate regularly with the office via phone, app, or email to ensure smooth coordination of care delivery.

Client Support & Relationship Management

Conduct routine client welfare checks and follow-up visits. Support reviews of care packages and gather feedback from clients and families. Attend client visits to address concerns or assist with more complex care needs.

On-Call Duties

Participate in the on-call rota, providing out-of-hours support and guidance for staff.

What We're Looking For

Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (essential). Experience in domiciliary care or a similar care setting. Strong leadership, communication, and people skills. Able to manage multiple responsibilities independently while on the move. Comfortable using digital systems and mobile apps for care records. Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle (essential).

What We Offer

27,000 annual salary + paid mileage. Full-time, permanent position with variety and responsibility. Remote working in the field with flexibility and autonomy. Ongoing training, development, and support from a friendly, person-focused team. The opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day -- in the lives of both clients and colleagues.
