Arden Lodge is a residential care home in Acocks Green, Birmingham, providing care for up to 44 residents. We have dedicated, staff who work on a person-centred approach, supporting residents in a respectful and empathic manner.
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Care Assistant to join our friendly team. The role will require you to provide the best possible care and support to our residents, whilst also overseeing a team of Care Assistants. This is a full time permanent position:
o 36 hours per week - 12 hour shifts
o Location - Acocks Green
o 13.51 per hour
Overall duties include:
? Lead and supervise a team of care assistants with responsibility for training new staff
? Ownership and delivery of care plans
? Ensuring residents receive the highest possible quality of care and support, monitoring general health and reporting any concerns
? Communication and building rapport with residents and their families
? Delivery and monitoring of medication, and completing audits
? Providing personal care and assistance with mealtimes when required
The ideal candidate will have:

? Proven ability to lead and supervise staff
