Job Description

Main Duties:



You may be required to work in other homes in the business at short notice to assist with staffing levels Assisting residents with personal care which includes getting dressed, washing and eating Provide company to the Residents. Provide information to family member regarding care plans in a professional manner Supervise and guide Health Care Assistants and to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate care. Ensuring the needs and wishes of the residents are met Administer medication under supervision Working with other health care professionals to provide a high stand of care Attend all necessary training when instructed Participate in any other duties detailed by management that may be considered relevant Report and record any breaks or damages to your Manager /or Deputy Manager Demonstrate a positive attitude when carrying out duties and be willing to put in an extra effort if an unexpected situation arrives To attend staff meetings as and when required Maintain confidentiality at all times

Administration Duties:



Keep Residents Care records up to date and inform Manager/Deputy Manager of any changes Involvement with resident Care plans and keeping records up to date, accurate, meticulous and legible Keep up to date medical records

General & Personal Development:



Ability to work effectively within a team Organised and trustworthy Pride in your work Physically fit to carry out cleaning duties Ability to take instruction Punctual and Reliable Clean and Tidy appearance Flexible approach to work including change of working patterns to suit the Care Home

About The Role

Required Criteria



Compassionate and caring disposition At least six months experience working with patients within a Care Home Setting NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or an equivalent qualification). Excellent interpersonal Skills Ability to work under pressure Be a team player



Desired Criteria



Enthusiastic and Professional Demonstrate a positive attitude when carrying out your duties and be willing to put in an extra effort if an unexpected situation arrives
