What does the job role involve?





We understand that care roles are demanding, and we are looking for candidates who are able to support our residents to remain active and independent which includes but is not limited to:


Caring and supporting our amazing residents in their journey with Aurem Care. Providing personal care, social support and making impactful and heartwarming memories. Ensuring the needs of our residents are met through the use of our electronic care platform "Nourish" Work within a committed team member Showing positive caring values in all aspects of practice To supervise, guide and support a group of care assistants. To assist in the planning and monitoring of resident care. Assist with care assistant induction programme and Core Training Programme Any ad hoc duties to meet service delivery for our residents.

What makes a successful candidate:




Must have previous senior care experience NVQ level 2 or 3 in Health and Social care obtained Enthusiastic about providing care Great values and compassion for supporting people You will be able to work well as part of a team and independently showing creativity and passion for the work you do Great communication skills Be able to follow and prioritise tasks and responsibilities Engage well with people we support in their continuing interests and supporting positive experiences

Lostock Lodge cares for clients with both Residential and Dementia needs in up to 32 ensuite rooms. Our staff are professionally qualified yet friendly and caring, a combination that ensures the highest standards of care for our residents. We pride ourselves on our friendly, homely atmosphere and we welcome visits from prospective clients. The Lodge is tastefully furnished and the decor is designed to be uplifting and is divided into several themed areas including seaside, countryside and street scenes as well as a bistro area. On a practical level we are of course equipped with all the facilities required to meet the needs of our residents. We have a varied programme of social activities designed both to stimulate and entertain.
