Kingsfield Care Home is looking for an experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents and assist in supervising and leading a team of care assistants.

Our training will give you the skills you need to complete your role as a Senior Care Assistant as well as arm you with life skills that you can use at home!

Shift Pattern
Shift: 07:00-15:00 & 15:00-22:00
Two week rolling roster with every other weekend off!
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care and support to residents, including dressing, bathing, and toileting
Administer medication and document appropriately
Assist with the development and review of care plans
Support and supervise a team of care assistants, providing guidance and support as needed
Assist in managing the daily operation of the care home, including managing staffing levels and ensuring that care standards are met
Liaise with families and healthcare professionals to ensure that the care needs of residents are met
Key Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
Experience working in a care home or similar setting
Experience in administering medication and maintaining accurate records
Knowledge of care standards and regulatory requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Passion for providing high-quality care and support to older adults
