is a quality homecare provider supporting Bedford town and nearby villages. To support us through our next phase of growth an exciting opportunity has arisen for the role as community Senior Caregiver.

This is a field-based role and prior experience in domiciliary care is essential. You must be extremely personable as you will be working with the entire team to make sure all our valued Clients needs are met.

Main duties and responsibilities include:



Motivating Clients to get the most out of their day
Personal care

Administering medication

Assisting Clients with washing and dressing

Shopping

Housekeeping

Meal preparation

Taking Clients for appointments or outings

Provide support to our caregivers in their day-to-day job and be keen to develop and mentor those around you. Onboard new carers and introduce them to clients Support the RM with new client assessments and draw up person centred care plans for clients Conduct observations (spot checks) on the care team Ensure all services are compliant with legislations, CQC standards and regulations Monitor and assess all clients for customer satisfaction Continually review and improve processes to ensure the most effective and efficient service is being delivered Building relationships with clients and families to ensure we deliver personalised care To ensure training needs of all staff are met effectively - implement induction programmes and identify and provide for on-going training needs

Role Requirements



You must hold a valid driving licence and access to a reliable car Minimum of 5 years' experience within domiciliary care environment in UK. Relevant qualification, such as Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or above Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated and flexible, with a willingness to participate in an on-call system for out of office hours Extremely well organised, excellent planning and prioritising ability with high attention to detail Ability to establish and maintain effective professional working relationships Strong administration skills and ability to manage multiple work loads
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 14.50-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
