As a Senior Care Assistant in our Primrose Croft Care Home in Cambridge, you will be part of a supportive and welcoming team providing physical, emotional, and social support to our residents.   • Salary: \xc2\xa311.40 - \xc2\xa312.00 p/h depending on experience and qualifications
  • Full time vacancies
  • Day or night shifts available from 8am - 8pm/8pm \xe2\x80\x93 8am, Monday - Sunday. You must be able to work alternate weekends
The role of a Senior Care Assistant:
  • To lead and mentor a team of Care Assistants
  • Take a proactive role throughout the home to drive excellent care practice at all times
  • Work closely with the Home Manager, Ancillary teams, and other Senior Care Assistants
  • Support with observations, medication and reviewing care plans
  • You and your team will be responsible for meeting the day-to-day needs of the people we care for as delivering exceptional care is at the heart of everything we do
  • You will also be responsible for the completion of person-centred care plans along with the necessary risk assessments and documents to ensure we are delivering a high standard of care \xe2\x80\x93 personalised to each individual person
  • You will need to be an enthusiastic, caring, and reliable individual, and passionate about what we do
About you:

If you\xe2\x80\x99ve had 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as a Care Assistant or previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant/Team Leader along with an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care and you\'re looking for a change, then Ashlyn Care Home could be the place for you.
