About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Care Assistant to join our friendly team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves providing hands-on care but also enjoys guiding, supporting, and developing others.
You will help deliver person-centred care in the community, ensure high-quality standards are met, and play a key part in mentoring and supervising our care staff.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to service users in their own homes.
Conduct spot checks, observations, and quality monitoring of care standards.
Support new carers in the field through mentoring and shadowing.
Complete accurate care documentation and maintain up-to-date client records.
Carry out risk assessments and participate in care plan reviews.
Collaborate with families, advocates, and healthcare professionals.
Respond to emergencies and provide on-the-spot guidance to care staff.
Promote a safe working environment and positive culture within the team.
Participate in multi-disciplinary reviews and regular team meetings.
What We Are Looking For
Experience working in care, ideally in a senior or supervisory role.
QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification / working towards it).
A full UK driving licence and access to your own car.
The right to work in the UK and over 18 years of age (for personal care duties).
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Calm under pressure and able to work independently
Ability to lead, motivate, and support colleagues.
Good written and spoken English.
Willingness to work alternate weekends and flexible hours when required.
