This job role is to work as senior in our residential care home,
To provide leadership to the care staff
To provide care in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations under the direction of the Manager
To supervise the care services within the home in accordance with agreed standards
To maintain skills at a current level, and undertake such training and development as may from time-to-time be required to maintain practices as up to date
Ensure Service Users are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing
To work with manager to ensure care plans and RA are updated on our electronic system
To ensure that all staff contribute to the efficient running of the service and supervise staff
Work in cooperation with members of the multi-disciplinary teams to maximise opportunities for Service User
Attend statutory training and any other training as directed by the management
Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth
Develop effective working relationships with other employees within the home
Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support
Order store and administer medications inline with policies and procedures
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 13.21 per hour
Expected hours: 11 - 33 per week
Schedule:
12 hour shift
Experience:
providing care: 1 year (preferred)
supervisory: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
Driving License (preferred)
NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)
Work Location: In person
