Springfield Care Home is looking for a full time Senior Care Assistant (Days) and (Nights) to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to learn new skills or develop their existing skills and knowledge. Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist clients with personal care and hygiene Assist with mobility, ambulation and mobility tools Administer medications in line with the homes policies and procedures. Compile person-centred care plans and risk assessments. Manage and lead a team. Work alongside external professionals. You must be able to make decisions based on residents needs and wants. Provide companionship and basic emotional support for residents. You must have understanding of the Mental Capacity Act. Be able to demonstrate communication skills with individuals in the community.

Ability to think critically and solve problems. Ability to work effectively in a team environment as part of a support team. Ability to manage and lead teams. Ability to work in a person-centred manner and act in patients best interests. You must have some experience leading/managing a team. You must be able to show competence in administration of medication.

Pay: 12.66 per hour
