Our brand new care home is situated in the beautiful town of Crieff, Scotland, offering luxurious accommodation for 70 residents. We provide personalised Residential, Dementia, Nursing, Palliative and Respite Care, delivered by a dedicated team passionate about care and wellbeing.
We are looking for compassionate and motivated Senior Care Assistants to join our team. Whether you are an experienced Care Assistant working towards or holding your SVQ Level 3 qualification, or ready to take the next step in your care career, we would love to hear from you. Day and night shifts are available, with both full-time and part-time contracts.
What We Offer

Day shifts: 8:00am to 8:00pm / Night shifts: 8:00pm to 8:00am
Paid PVG, pension scheme, and uniform provided
5.6 weeks annual leave (based on full-time hours)

What You Will Do
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will lead and coordinate the care team to ensure the smooth running of the home and maintain a positive, supportive atmosphere. You will support residents with personal care while always prioritising dignity and independence. Your role will include overseeing medication management, ensuring accurate documentation, and communicating effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals. You will respond promptly to emergencies, support the professional development of your team, and promote a compassionate and respectful culture throughout the home.
About You
Hold a minimum of SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care and be working towards or already hold SVQ Level 3
Have practical medication administration competencies
Demonstrate strong leadership skills to motivate and develop your team while maintaining a supportive environment
Possess a kind and caring nature with a commitment to person-centred care
Work collaboratively and with integrity
