SENIOR CARE ASSISTANT

SETTING: Residential Care Home, Amersham HP6

~1 mile from Amersham station - Metropolitan Line (Tube) and Overground Rail; On-site parking available

FULL & PART-TIME DAY SHIFTS (8am - 8pm) AVAILABLE

RATE: From 13.50 per hour

ESSENTIAL: Previous senior care and medication administration experience

Must have or be working towards Level 3 in Health & Social Care.

You will need to be an organised and methodical person, and have experience in a Residential Care Home setting or similar. Including experience with meds rounds and supervisions with staff.

You must be a caring and friendly person with a positive approach.

We can offer 36 hour contract working 8am to 8pm which will include working every other weekend. Breaks are paid so you will be paid 12 hours for each 12 hour shift you work.

Experience with an electronic care plan system an advantage



- Meds rounds

- Assist with ordering and logging of monthly meds

- Care plan of the day

- Communicating with families, Social Workers, GP and other professional bodies

Reporting and logging of any accident, incident and any health & Safety issues

- Assisting with personal care

- Supporting the Deputy Manager, Manager and Carers
