Salary:

From 13.80 per hour

Hours:

Full-time, 36-48 hours per week (8pm-8am), on a 2-week rolling rota with alternate weekends

About the Role



As a

Day Senior Care Assistant

, you will play a key role in ensuring the comfort, wellbeing, and safety of our residents during the day. You'll lead a team of care staff, oversee care delivery, and provide hands-on support to ensure residents receive compassionate, person-centred care.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Leading and supervising the care team throughout the shift Providing personal care and emotional support to residents living with dementia Monitoring residents' wellbeing and responding promptly to any changes in health Administering medication safely and accurately (training provided if required) Maintaining thorough, accurate documentation Promoting independence, dignity, and respect in all aspects of care Supporting new staff and contributing to a positive, supportive workplace culture

About You



We're looking for caring and confident individuals who lead by example and take pride in delivering the highest standards of care.

Essential requirements:



NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care Previous experience in a senior care role Experience supporting individuals living with dementia Experience leading or running a day shift Willingness to work alternate weekends

Desirable:



Medication administration training (eMAR) End-of-life care experience
