Senior Care Assistant

Shifts: 7:00am - 8:15pm | 14.00 per hour

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join Lincoln House Care Home. In this rewarding role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality care to our residents, supporting their wellbeing and quality of life every day.

If you don't already hold an NVQ, we offer the chance to gain a Diploma Level 3 qualification, supporting your long-term career development.

Responsibilities:

Support residents with their personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing, and using hoists as needed. Carry out thorough handovers at the end of each shift to keep the team informed. Create a caring, supportive environment that meets the physical and emotional needs of residents. Monitor and ensure correct staffing levels on each shift, planning ahead where needed. Review and update residents' care plans to reflect their needs and wishes. Help maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Work collaboratively with your team to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere and ensure smooth daily operations.
