18hrs per week - 7:00am - 7:00pm across a 2 week rolling rota- Alternate Weekends

Experience

in a care environment, with experience within a Senior/Team Leader position.

Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care

(or equivalent).

About Inwood House:

Step into the welcoming world of Inwood House! Nestled amidst the serene landscapes of Horbury, just a stone's throw from Wakefield, Inwood House presents an idyllic setting for residential care. At Inwood House, we cater to up to 50 residents, providing a warm, family-like atmosphere where currently 31 individuals call home. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional, personalised care, with a focus on dementia and residential support. We also offer short-term respite and rehabilitation services, ensuring a comprehensive care experience.

The home boasts several communal lounges, a charming on-site cafe, a professional hairdressing salon, a spacious dining room, and a sun-drenched room. These spaces are designed for relaxation and enjoyment, overlooking the splendid views of our gardens. Inwood House is a hive of activity - we offer an array of social opportunities, from engaging craft sessions to karaoke, arts, bingo, and our popular "knit & natter" gatherings, not to mention "fish and chip Fridays"!

Role Responsibilities:

Lead the care team during your shift, ensuring quality care. Manage medication administration and coordinate handovers. Delegate tasks and provide support to the team. Communicate with families and healthcare professionals.
