Senior Care Assistant -Days - required for our luxury care home 'Selwood House' in Charlton Down, Dorchester, Dorset, Part of the Country Court Family.

Hours: Days 44 Hours per week, working weekends on rota (Shift Times 0

8:00-20:00)

Selwood House Care Home located in Charlton Down near Dorchester accommodates up to 84 residents, and is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to cater for various care needs. Specialising in residential care, dementia care, and short-term respite care, Selwood House will provide a warm welcome as soon as you set foot through the door.

ABOUT THE SENIOR CARE ASSISTANT ROLE

Within your role as a Senior Care Assistant, you can really make a difference to our residents' lives. Your responsibilities will include:

Aiding residents emotional well-being and social needs Administration and monitoring of medications to residents. Supporting residents at meals time Mentor & assist new employees. Implement, monitor and review care plans to meet residents specific needs. ABOUT YOU

We want someone proactive, passionate, and ambitious to support us to create the best person-centred environment for our residents. You'll be genuinely valued and empowered as an integral part of our team.

Experience as a Senior Care Assistant & leading a team. Have a friendly & caring attitude. Experience of administrating medication Able to engage well with the residents and their families. NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social care or willing to work towards this. Great communication skills, both written & verbal.
