Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to elderly individuals, assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will play a vital part in enhancing their quality of life through your caring nature and professional approach.

Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times. Support clients with medication administration. Serve meals according to dietary requirements and preferences. Monitor clients' health and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professional. Engage clients in social activities and companionship to promote mental well-being. Maintain accurate records of care provided and any observations made during visits. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.

Requirements

Previous experience in a care setting is essential. A genuine passion for helping others and a strong sense of empathy. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. A valid driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: 13.25-14.25 per hour
