We are seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care to elderly residents within our 48 bedded private care home. The ideal candidate will have a passion for senior care and possess strong leadership and communication skills. We are unable to provide Certificate of Sponsorship for this post.
Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality care to residents in line with their care plans
- Supervising and supporting junior care staff
- Assisting residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and meals
- Communicating effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided
- Utilising IT systems for record-keeping and reporting
Qualifications
- Previous experience in senior care is desired
- Ability to drive is preferred
- Strong leadership skills to guide and support junior staff
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents and colleagues
- Proficiency in creating and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs
-Previous experience of administration of medications desirable
