Hours: 42 hours per week



Pay: 13.83 per hour



Contract: Full time

What you will be doing:



Leading a team of Health Care Assistants, acting as a positive role model and trusted point of support. Assisting with personal care, meals and daily living tasks. Administering medication (following training and guidelines). Updating care plans and maintaining accurate records. Delivering the highest standard of person-centred care, promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing for every resident. Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic environment. Supporting family members and visitors.




What you need to succeed:



At least a minimum of 2 years' experience in delivering care or as a Senior Care Assistant. Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or willing to sign up/or working towards it). Trained in medication administration. Excellent people and customer service skills. Ability to induct, supervise and mentor junior staff. Time management skills to delegate tasks within a team. Good communication skills - verbal (great communication within the team and to other external professionals) and writing (ability to write and maintain care plans) and digital skills. Caring attitude. Flexible and reliable.
