About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated

Senior Care Assistant (Nights)

to join our care team in Gateshead. You will play a key role in leading the night care team, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are delivered to our residents throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities

Provide hands-on personal care and support to residents. Lead, supervise, and support care staff on night shifts. Administer medication in line with company and regulatory standards. Maintain accurate care records and ensure documentation is completed correctly. Respond promptly to resident needs, including emergencies. Promote dignity, independence, and person-centred care.
Requirements

NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care

(or equivalent). Previous experience in a senior care role within a residential or nursing home. Medication administration experience. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering quality care.
