Senior Care Assistant

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistants to join our caring team at Hollywood Rest Home. If you have experience in the care sector and are committed to providing quality care, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents, ensuring dignity and respect at all times. Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and meals. Administer medication in accordance with individual care plans and following the home's policies. Support individuals living with dementia, adapting your approach to meet their individual needs. Maintain accurate records and reports related to residents' care and medication. Work collaboratively with management and other care assistants to ensure residents' well-being.

Requirements:

Must be over 18 years old. Previous care experience is essential, ideally in a senior or similar role. Experience administering medication is required. Must be comfortable and experienced in supporting residents with dementia. Ability to work flexible day shifts, including some weekends (with every other weekend off). Excellent communication skills and a caring, empathetic approach.

Pay: Up to 12.75 per hour

Expected hours: 33 - 44 per week
