Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality care to elderly residents in a care home setting. You will be responsible for supporting residents with their daily activities, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both residents and staff.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Develop and implement individual care plans in collaboration with the care team. Supervise junior staff members and provide guidance on best practices in senior care. Maintain accurate records of residents' health and progress. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Drive to appointments or activities as required, ensuring safe transportation for residents. Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in senior care.

Experience

Previous experience in a senior care or similar environment is preferred. Strong leadership abilities with a focus on supervising and mentoring team members. Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and documentation. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with residents and their families. A genuine passion for providing high-quality care to seniors is essential.
