Summary

As a Senior Care Assistant at Norwood House, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents. This position is essential in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our elderly clients, making a significant impact on their daily lives.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and dignity. Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team. Supervise junior staff members and provide guidance as needed. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals. Monitor residents' health and report any changes to the nursing staff. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in elderly care.

Requirements

Experience in a care home or similar setting is essential. Strong understanding of senior care practices and dementia support. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to lead and supervise a team effectively. Basic IT skills are preferred but not mandatory.
