As a Senior Care Assistant at Highfield House Care Home, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents. This position is essential for ensuring that individuals receive the support they need while living with us, contributing to their well-being and quality of life.

. If you have an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or are working towards it), we'd be excited to have you on board.
Responsibilities:
Carrying out handovers at the end of each shift, making sure everyone is informed and up to date.
Creating a caring and supportive environment that meets the physical and emotional needs of our residents.
Making sure there are enough staff on shift, and planning ahead for future staffing needs.
Reviewing and updating care plans to ensure they match our residents' needs and wishes.
Supporting residents with their daily personal care - to include washing, bathing, dressing, and using hoists when needed.
Keeping the environment safe and secure for residents, staff, and visitors.
Working together as a team to help keep everything running smoothly and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or be working towards it).
Previous experience in a senior care role or similar position is essential.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support team members.
Knowledge of care home regulations and best practices is preferred.
