Senior Care Assistant needed in Hastings, East Sussex

Pay depends on the level of NVQ that you currently hold

Responsibilities:

- As a care giver you will provide personal care and support to elderly residents
- As a healthcare assistant you will assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Escort clients to appointments or social outings
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental health
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients

Experience:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a care assistant or similar role
- Knowledge of elderly care practices and techniques
- Familiarity with common age-related conditions and their management
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when interacting with clients
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
