Senior Care Assistant
Job Description
Wavertree House is a friendly care home with nursing and is looking after 40 residents , I am looking for a Senior Carer / Supervisor to work during the day and on alternate weekends.
The shifts are 07.30-2.30pm and 2pm - 9pm.
The hours can be flexible and are 28 or 35 per week
The main requirements for a Supervisor are to be responsible for the wellbeing of the residents, their physical, emotional and social needs, in a caring, kind and respectful manner, maintaining their dignity and self-respect at all times, under the supervision of the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager
Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting/assisting Residents, when required, with all aspects of daily living.
Support training and supervision of junior and new employees in all aspects of their work,
Dispense medication, and ensure correct recording of all relevant information relating to medication (after satisfactory completion of the Safe Handling of Medicines course).

Pay: 14.50 per hour
