Caring Arms Together Ltd is urgently recruiting a

dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Worker

to provide

one-to-one, person-centred support

for an individual with

Autism, Down Syndrome, and PTSD

.

This role requires a confident, reliable professional with strong experience in complex needs and behaviour support.

Key Requirements

Full

UK driving licence

-

essential

Proven experience or strong knowledge of

Autism and Down Syndrome

(recent relevant training desirable)

Good understanding of

PTSD

, including triggers, behaviour management, and de-escalation techniques Ability to safely manage

challenging or hostile behaviours

Fluent English

, spoken and written Professional, flexible, and reliable approach to care Willingness to work flexibly in response to changing needs

Training Requirements

First Aid Manual Handling Restraint / Physical Intervention Skills
(or willingness to undertake required training)

Main Duties

Provide high-quality,

person-centred support

promoting independence and skill development Assist with structured tasks set by

teachers and work coordinators

Support daily living activities and community engagement Provide

safe transportation

to appointments, education, and activities Maintain regular, professional communication with

parents/guardians

Complete

daily written and visual reports

(all media must be deleted after submission in line with data protection policies)

Additional Information

Flexibility required due to changes in behaviour or health needs Ability to

travel and stay overnight

when required
