Job Description

Main responsibilities involve being a supportive and important member of a caring team, participate fully in the delivery of care with quality and standard. Senior Care Assistants must be able to give detailed care with reference to key-workers and help guide a team as well supporting their Home Manager.

Daily duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:



Assisting with moving and handling residents Maintaining Health & Safety standard & Fire Procedures Maintaining and recording necessary documentation Medication Administration and Medical assistance/standards Allocation of staff and Home Management support Documentation; Care Plans, Supervisions and Personal Checklists Assisting with personal care Meeting all daily living needs of individuals Liasing with external professionals Monitoring of general health and wellbeing of residents Responding appropriately to medical emergencies

Skills/Requirements:



NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (Candidates who are working towards, or willing to enrol on a course will still be considered for the position) Medication knowledge/administration First Aid Good numeric and literacy skills Caring attitude Good communication skills A strong team worker Supportive and patient Reliable and punctual
