Job Summary

We are seeking 2 dedicated and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team within a reputable care home specialising in senior care. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality support and supervision to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role offers an opportunity to utilise your leadership skills and care expertise in a compassionate environment, contributing positively to residents' lives.

Responsibilities, may include but are not limited to:

Deliver personalised care in accordance with individual care plans, respecting residents' dignity and preferences Supervise and support junior care staff, fostering a collaborative and professional team environment Assist residents with daily activities such as mobility and personal hygiene Administer medication in line with our medication policy Monitor residents' health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals promptly Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and update care plans as necessary Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the care environment in compliance with health and safety regulations Communicate effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote transparency and trust Support the organisation's standards of quality care through continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

Proven experience in senior care within a care home setting, with supervising or leadership experience preferred Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with residents, families, and team members Knowledge of care plans, safeguarding procedures, and relevant legislation governing adult social care IT literacy for maintaining accurate records and documentation Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Holds or is working towards a level 3 qualification
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.75 per hour

Expected hours: 14 - 28 per week
