Duties
Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
Monitor residents' health by taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates; report any abnormalities promptly.
Administer medications following care plans and Nice guidelines to ensure safety and compliance.
Support residents to promote proper nutrition and hydration.
Observe and document residents' conditions through patient observation techniques; report changes or concerns to healthcare professionals.
Maintain a clean and safe environment
Follow detailed care plans tailored to each resident's needs while providing emotional support and companionship.
Collaborate with professionals including social workers, and family members to develop comprehensive care strategies.
Participate in training sessions
Support residents' participation in social activities
Requirements
Proven experience as a Care Assistant or Senior Care Assistant in care home or similar environments.
Strong knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and ADL assistance. .
Experience working with people with care needs.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and residents' families.
Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve residents' quality of life through attentive caregiving.
Knowledge of infection control procedures
