Maesyfelin Care Home is looking for caring, reliable individuals to join our team. We provide person centred support in a warm and welcoming environment, and we are committed to helping residents live with dignity, purpose, and comfort. This role involves delivering high quality care as part of a supportive and professional team.
Key responsibilities
Support residents with daily living, including personal care, dressing, and mobility
Assist residents to take part in routines and meaningful activities that support wellbeing
Work in line with individual care plans
Offer general support, conversation, and reassurance to residents, including those living with dementia
Keep accurate care records using our digital system
Communicate clearly with colleagues, visiting professionals, and families
Maintain good standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety throughout the home
Contribute positively to a friendly, inclusive team culture
Skills and qualities
Previous experience in care is helpful but not essential
Good communication skills
Basic IT skills to support digital record keeping
A patient, respectful, and supportive approach
Ability to work well within a team and use initiative when required
A genuine interest in supporting older adults
level 3 qualification
DBS transferable or update service (if this is in place immediate start available for the right candidate)
