We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to our new team in our new home St Brelades. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality care to the residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being in a supportive environment. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for supervising care staff, implementing care plans, and fostering a positive atmosphere within the care home.
Duties
Supervise and support junior care staff to ensure the delivery of exceptional care to residents. Lead the shift administer medication for those residential residents.
Develop and implement personalised care plans tailored to individual needs and preferences.
Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Maintain accurate records of resident care and progress in accordance with regulatory standards.
Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Promote a safe and welcoming environment within the care home by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Skills
Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising staff within a senior care setting.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and team members.
