Job Description

We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Care Assistant in our Outstanding Residential Care Home. We are a 38 bedded home caring for individuals with a range of needs.

The role will involve working within a care team as well as under your own initiative. Leading a shift, managing medication, undertaking audits and checks as well as liaising with professionals eg G.P's and Nurses.

Applicants must be caring, patient and strive to provide the best possible levels of care. Ideally, you will have recent experience of caring for people, preferably older people in a health, social care or voluntary setting. You must also be able to demonstrate a genuine interest and willingness to work with older people.

Must have NVQ 3 or equivalent.
