Senior Care Assistant (nights)
Job Description
YOU WILL BE IN CHARGE OF THE SHIFT 8:45PM UNTIL 7:00AM.
3 NIGHTS PER WEEK. THIS INCLUDES EVERY OTHER WEEKEND.
YOU WILL WOULD NEED TO OF HAD A PREVIOUS ROLE IN CHARGE, MEDICATION ROUND WILL BE DONE AT THE START OF THE SHIFT.
YOU WILL BE SUPERVISED BY ANOTHER IN CHARGE PERSON FOR YOUR INDUCTION TRAINING SO YOU CAN FOLLOW THE ROUTINE AND UNDERSTAND THE RESIDENTS NEEDS. YOU WILL ASSIST ANOTHER TEAM MEMBER WITH HELPING RESIDENTS THAT NEED HELP DURING THE NIGHT.
THE OFF DUTY IS 4 WEEKS IN ADVANCE. ALL TRAINING WILL BE COMPLETED IN HOUSE . YOU WILL REQUIRE ALL BACK ROUND CHECKS PRIOR TO COMMENCING THE POSITION YOU WILL NEED A DBS (ENHANCED FOR THIS POST) .
2 STAFF ON NIGHTS WITH A SLEEP IN PERSON TO BE CALLED UPON FOR HOSPITAL ADMISSIONS AND EMERGENCY SITUATIONS. ON CALL PERSON ALSO AVAILABLE.
SATURDAY NIGHTS IS 14.00 PER HOUR.
THE HOME HAS 34 RESIDENTS
