This is a Senior Care Assistant role at Avery Healthcare in Hatfield, offering a competitive salary of xc2xa313.75 per hour for a permanent position. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the care team in delivering high-quality, person-centered care to residents, while maintaining a safe, caring, and inclusive environment.
Main duties of the job
As a Senior Care Assistant, your focus will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Other responsibilities include monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, involvement in the care planning process, supporting residents with medication, and undertaking staff supervisions.

• Monitoringthe wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changeimpactingon care and care plans, ensuring that new needs aremet,and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
• Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations.
• Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
• Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
• Actingas a key point for contact with residents, theirrelativesand visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are actedupon,and concerns or complaints are escalated.
