Could you be the calm, caring presence that provides high-quality support and assistance to our residents at night?

We're looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Night Carer to join our dedicated team, providing comfort, safety, and support to our 17 residents during the night hours.

As the lead carer on shift, you'll oversee the smooth running of the home, support and guide the night team, and ensure the highest standards of care are maintained at all times.

Your responsibilities will include:

o Supervising and supporting junior night staff

o Providing hands-on personal care and emotional reassurance to residents

o Monitoring residents' wellbeing and responding promptly to any needs

o Carrying out night checks, updating care plans, record keeping, and handovers

o Promoting dignity, comfort, and safety throughout the night

What we're looking for:

o Previous paid experience of Caring for Older people (minimum 1-2 years preferred)

Experience with administering medication safely and accurately.

o Confident leadership and communication skills

o Compassion, reliability, and professionalism

o NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or aim to work towards it)
