We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team within a reputable care home environment. Duties



Lead and supervise care staff to ensure the delivery of outstanding care services Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility Implement and review individualised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members Support residents' emotional well-being through effective communication and companionship Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe environment for residents and staff Administer medication as prescribed, adhering to strict protocols Document all care activities accurately using IT systems and maintain detailed records Organise training sessions and provide guidance to junior staff members to foster professional development Liaise with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies to coordinate resident care effectively Drive company vehicles when required for resident outings or appointments

Experience



Proven supervisory experience within a care home or senior care setting Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support team members Experience in developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans tailored to individual needs Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams Competent IT skills for recording documentation and managing care records efficiently Driving licence is desirable for transporting residents or attending external appointments Knowledge of senior care practices, health & safety regulations, and safeguarding procedures is essential

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 14.77 per hour

Expected hours: 42.87 per week
